Information for Pregnant Women

Pregnant women in the South Okanagan can access free prenatal vitamins, and free

prenatal classes through the Positively Pregnant  program at the Boys & Girls’ Club.

For labour and delivery and first trimester classes, call Karen-Ann,

the Public-Health nurse at 770-3430.

Pregnant women on Income Assistance should be receiving benefits for vitamins

of $45 per month. Pregnant women applying for Income Assistance do not have to

complete a three week job search.
