Information on food, housing, clothing, support groups,education, employment, parenting, health & pregnancy
Community information bulletin board
Access to Free Shelf (personal care products),fax, phone, internet and scanner.
Lending library for members
Law Advocacy for People on Low Incomes
Tenancy Rights, Employment Assistance (welfare), Disability Benefits, CPP, & EI.
Advocate services include:
Assistance with filling out forms
Information about rights & resources
Representation to tribunals & hearings
Community Outreach (primarily Penticton, Oliver, Osoyoos, and Keremeos)
Connecting individuals and groups with information & resources
Community capacity building to enhance and link services
Education & Public Awareness:
Prevention of violence against women & girls
Workshops & information sessions
Volunteer Opportunities:
Board Member
Volunteer in Resource Centre & Office Support
Fundraising & Special Events
Professional service, such as advocacy and public education.
