2. KELOWNA GOSPEL MISSION has a Dental Program with a FREE Dental Clinic 2 times a month for extractions. Go to the Kelowna Drop-In Centre at 467 Leon Ave, Kelowna, BC (250-763-3311) for the referral and fill out a form. You must be low-income and give them a Kelowna address.

Penticton Hospital (250) 492-4000, press 0 – ask for the Dentist on call. Emergency treatment is NOT free.
The Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance will cover some emergency dental work. At the Penticton & Area Women's Centre, we have a booklet called Your Welfare Rights, by the Legal Services Society, which explains all the details. Come by our office and pick one up, or call us and we'll mail one to you. The staff and volunteers at the Women's Centre can refer you to a local dentist who will take the coverage offered by MEIA.
